EuRec Feeding, Dosing and Intermediate Bunkers

EuRec® developed different bunker types, those use covers several fields of application. Here, EuRec® referred to proven technology and added important technical features. Basically, EuRec® bunker systems differ in the way of filling, discharging and dosing.

The smaller EuRec® bunker system (EuRec® Feeding Bunker AG type) is loaded from above. At the bottom of the bunker there is a highly tear-proof rubber belt which takes care of the material discharge. It always makes sense to use our cost-effective bunker when a smaller amount of material is loaded and there is no necessity to discharge the material continuously. The speed of the discharge conveyor and its inclination are exclusively used to regulate the discharge.  In case of a high filling level of the bunker, a certain quantity of material rolls back because of the inclined conveyor belt. In the end, there are limits regarding the material dosing.

The larger EuRec® bunker systems (ADS types) have a pushing floor system divided in individual segments and regulated dosing rollers in common. The EuRec® pushing floor system guarantees the usage of this type of bunkers even in highly demanded applications, e. g. on the field of residential waste or biological waste treatment; no matter if there is heavy waste material or a large quantity of waste to be treated. According to their design, ADS-type bunkers are loaded by wheel loaders or transport conveyors. Of course, speed and direction of rotation of dosing rollers, pushing speed, retention time and pushing distance of the individual elements of the pushing floor are regulated.

In combination with the regulated pushing floor, the movable discharge console, the adjustable speed of the discharge conveyor, etc., the dosing rollers of the EuRec® bunker systems ADS-1 type are responsible for the dosing process of the material discharge. The number of the installed dosing rollers is part of the type designation. Speed and direction of rotation of all dosing rollers are regulated. The pushing floor of all EuRec® pushing floor bunkers pushes the loaded material via an adjustable discharge console onto the discharge conveyor. By this, the throughput of the bunker can be regulated stepless, the discharge flow comes out homogenously and you can make adjustments to the respective requirements.

Next common feature of all EuRec® pushing floor bunkers is the removable back wall, so the feeding of the bunkers; therefore the feeding of the bunkers is also possible to be made from low height from the back.

The hydraulic drive and the control cabinet of our EuRec® bunkers are installed below the bunker. All bunkers are designed to be operated in hand as well as in automatic mode. The control panel is positioned easily accessible for the operator. Special versions are available on request.

EuRec® Feeding and Dosing Bunker ADS-1 type. The bunker is equipped with one dosing roller, which homogenizes and regulates the discharge flow in combination with the pushing floor and the discharge console. The feeding is made with a wheel loader of a feeding conveyor, for instance. This type of bunker is suitable to handle a medium-scaled throughput that may arise before the material passes e. g. a sorting conveyor or a secondary shredder, but also a EuRec® RBS-2 Round Baling System. Optionally we provide the EuRec® Bag Opener which is installed inside the bunker.

EuRec® Feeding and Dosing Bunker ADS-2 type. This type of bunker is equipped with 2 dosing rollers which homogenize and regulate the discharge flow in combination with the pushing floor and the discharge console. The bunker comes along with attachments that are removable for transport. Use our ADS-2 bunker when you have to deal with a high throughput.

EuRec® Feeding and Dosing Bunker ADSZ-1 and ADSZ-2 type. Both bunker types can be used further as intermediate bunkers, e. g. as part of complete waste treatment lines. On top of the bunker there is a reversing conveyor that picks up the input material and feeds it to the bunker, when no material is requested. In case of requested material, the reversing conveyor changes the discharge direction and together with the pushing floor of the bunker the material is forwarded to the discharge conveyor. This shortens considerably the filling time of our EuRec® RBS-2 Round Baling System and increases the throughput.
